Privacy
This is a personal site, not a product. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts. The short version is that almost nothing about you leaves your browser.
Last updated: 2026.
What is stored in your browser
Two preferences, both set by the site itself and both readable only by craxx:
- Colour theme — which of the two themes you picked, in
localStorage. - Language — your language choice, in a cookie, so the server renders the right one on the next visit.
These exist so the site does not forget your choice between pages. They contain no identifiers and are not shared with anyone. Clearing your browser storage for this site removes both.
What is not collected
- No analytics, no session recording, no heatmaps.
- No advertising or tracking pixels.
- No third-party fonts, scripts or CDNs: the fonts are self-hosted, so no other company sees your IP address when you read a page.
- No profiling, and nothing sold or shared, because nothing is gathered in the first place.
The lab tools
Every demo under /lab runs entirely in your browser. Text you paste into the
JSON converter, the contrast checker, the expected-value model or the regex lab
is never transmitted — you can verify that in the network tab of your developer
tools, and the page keeps working with the network disconnected.
Server logs
Like any web server, the host that serves craxx may keep standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested path, timestamp) for security and troubleshooting. Those logs are short-lived and are not used to build profiles.
Links to other sites
This site links to GitHub, LinkedIn, Instagram and Steam. Once you follow one of those links, that site's own privacy policy applies — not this one. I have no control over what they collect.
Contact
For anything related to this site, including a request to correct or remove something, use the contact links on the home page. There is no newsletter and no mailing list to unsubscribe from.
Changes
If this document changes, the date at the top changes with it. As there is nothing to collect, there is also nothing to migrate.
